Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Eyewitness confirms man got shot twice in the head at Tashas restaurant in Rosebank mall. (Read More Here).




There were other patrons in the restaurant at the time and they ran for cover.


An eyewitness claimed the gunmen ran, and later walked, to their getaway car on the other side of the mall.


“I thought they were customers from the mall. I didn’t see a gun in their possession as their hands were inside their jackets’ pockets,” he said.


Police are at the scene and have not yet commented on the incident. Details are scant at this stage but Medi Response advanced life support paramedics who responded said a 42-year-old man was declared dead on the scene.


According to Paul Herbst from Medi Response, the man was having breakfast at Tashas restaurant on the outside of The Zone area of the mall when he was accosted by two men. He was shot twice in the head before the perpetrators fled on foot.


Information reads: “BREAKING: A man has been shot dead in #Tashas at Rosebank mall in an apparent hit. Eyewitnesses say two men entered the popular restaurant and fired multiple shots at the businessman before fleeing on foot through the Rosebank Firs.”
