Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that father, Dee Hastie, revealed that a teacher threw his autistic son, Stylez, down to the ground in the cafeteria at Lakewood High school.

A parent took to Facebook claiming a teacher at Lakewood High School threw her special needs son to the ground and choked him by the back of his neck inside the school cafeteria.

According to the post, another student recorded the 1-minute video, which reportedly shows the entire assault from start to finish. Once school officials saw the footage, the teacher was fired immediately and another staff member in the same class resigned the next day.

The mother says the family’s lawyers were offered a settlement, but she insists it’s not about money — it’s about justice for her child. She also claims her son, a 9th-grade special needs student, has come home multiple times with bruises and injuries.

This story has sparked outrage across the community, and many are demanding answers from the Sumter School District.

Another student from Lakewood saw it happening and reached out to his mama…she went up to the school and confronted them bout it but they had no knowledge of this taking place…So after they reviewed the video the TEACHER WAS FIRED IMMEDIATELY…Then the other teacher in his class resigned the next day…
So we called and asked to review the video…We want to see how yall mistreating OUR child. A helpless one at that….This boy is in the 9th grade and still wear pull ups to school…Then he can’t even talk to let us know how he’s being treated behind closed doors….Plus it has been multiple days he came home with bruises on him that he didnt have when he went
Lawyers finally showed a copy of the video TODAY….And it was HORRIBLE…I was trying not to curse in this status
