Final year students of Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO), have sprayed money as they celebrated their lecturer, Professor A.M (Anthony Monday) Ette, for being so kind to them. (Read More Here).
In the trending video, FUTO finalists were seen spraying some cash on Professor A.M Ette, while dancing around him as they celebrated him for his kindness.
According to students of FUTO, professor Ette is an outstanding, understanding and passionate lecturer. He’s a lecturer at the Department of Mathematics in FUTO.
Biography of Professor Anthony Monday Ette, according to FUTO online:
“Professor Anthony M. Ette, attended St. Peter and Paul’s Primary School, Essene and later attended Duke Town Secondary School, Calabar(1966-1971). On graduation from Secondary School, he attended College of Education Uyo(1972-1975). He later attended the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1977 where he eventually obtained B.Sc.(1980), M.Sc. (1982} Ph.D.(1990). His research interest is in the areas of Mathematical Theory of Elasticity, Plasticity and Continuum Mechanics. He has published extensively in both local and foreign journals. He was first employed in FUTO in 1983 on the rank of Assistant Lecturer but has since risen to the rank of Professor. He has successfully supervised five doctorial and twenty-five students for Masters programme and is still counting.”
