Governor of River State, Nyesom Wike, has blown hot during a press briefing as he narrated a scenario of what a man passed through in the hands of FSARS.
Nyesom Wike boldly says FSARS are kidnappers and armed robbers. Governor Wike narrated how some people (FSARS) went to a residential area to kidnap an unnamed man. After an investigation, the people who kidnapped the unnamed man happened to be FSARS.
He continued by saying that the FSARS took the unnamed man into their vehicle and went straight to Fidelity bank, where they made their victim (the unnamed man) withdraw N500k as ransom.
In Governor Wike’s words:
“Some people went to resident side and kidnapped somebody and took him in their vehicle for him to go and withdraw N500,000 from Fidelity Bank as ransom. Luckily, the brother of the victim had to call the IG Squad that’s being based in Port Harcourt.
“When it happened, the men were wearing SARS uniforms and the men fired the IG Squad and they retaliated and gunned down three of the SARS men. There were three, two of them ran away.
“Now, this is the signal to IG’s office regarding this crime and what we hear tomorrow is that we are not correct that they are men of SARS. Today, I’m not ranting to the authorities for them to take any action. I’m no longer interested.”
