Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that LaCrista Vaughn identified as the RN who delayed a pregnant woman in wheelchair during childbirth delivery at Dallas regional medical center.
In the trending video, the pregnant black woman was seen screaming while sitting in a wheelchair when LaCrista Vaughn kept asking her questions about how many kids she has given birth to, who her doctors are and her delivery date.
It is clear to us, a person with no medical knowledge whatsoever that that is a woman in extremely active labor. This nurse couldn’t care less. She didn’t try and offer her a kind word, there was no urgency, there was not a single care by this woman. Even at the end of the video when she asked for help, the nurse replied ‘I cannot help’
That is unacceptable. She should’ve been immediately taken up to labor and delivery. She had her baby 12 minutes later.
Reminder Black women are 3x more likely to die in and around childbirth. Often times they are not believed about their pain. We have seen this happen countless times.
How long did this have to happen off camera for her to finally start recording??

@kashman2814 The charge nurse whole demeanor was no interested and unconcern. This nurse showed lack of emotional, and refusal to be concerned with my daughter’s physical being, which left her feeling mentally exhausted and traumatized because at this point, she is worried about the birth of her baby.
