Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that money found in Arnel Dagatan Albit’s decomposed body wallet hanging on a tree with a rope around the neck in Barangay Bogtongbod, Clarin.

A man’s body, already in an advanced stage of decomposition, was found hanging with a rope around his neck this morning in Barangay Bogtongbod, Clarin, Bohol, Philippines. READ MORE HERE

At the crime scene, identification cards were recovered bearing the name Arnel Dagatan Albit, a resident of Matalom, Leyte.

According to PLT. Amado Amba, chief of Clarin PNP, the victim is believed to have been dead for over a month. Due to the extent of decomposition, the lower half of the body had already detached. The body was discovered by a local resident who was gathering firewood and was alerted by the foul smell, which was estimated to be 30 to 50 meters away from the road.

Investigation by the Clarin PNP is still ongoing.
