Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Nepali finance minister, Bishnu Prasad Paudel, stripped naked off his underwear while being chased in river by Gen Z protesters.
Nepal’s finance minister Bishnu Paudel was reportedly attacked by a crowd of protesters, according to a video that has gone viral on the internet.
Moneycontrol could not independently verify the video and the time and date of the incident.
In the video, a man can be seen running away from a crowd of angry protesters, who kicked, punched and dragged the individual before being rescued by bystanders.
Although the person’s face is not clearly visible, multiple reports claimed that the individual was Paudel.
Moreover, the minister’s house in Bohoratpur was vandalized by the protesters, News18 reported.
The development comes amid widespread protests over a government ban on social media, which was later overturned.
Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Oli resigned on September 9 after almost 48 hours of violent protests led to the death of at least 19 and injuries to several demonstrators.
