Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that the South Africa Police Service have begun shooting rubber bullets at learners and protesters protesting outside Hoerskool Jan Viljoen in Randfontein. (Read More Here).




Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi is currently at the school following an alleged racially-motivated incident last Friday.


“It pains me a lot for you to still be reminded that you are black in your own country,” Gauteng education MEC Panyaza Lesufi tells pupils of Hoerskool Jan Viljoen.


Parents who reached out to Kossyderrickent says the police began to shoot rubber bullets, even amidst the peaceful protest ongoing at the school. 


In the trending video, Police are seen throwing teargases and shooting rubber bullets at the protesters, which include: Parents and their wards.
