Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Tributes as Pretty Amanda Manda shot dead in RocBlock, 77th & Essex.
On Friday night, Aug. 29th, 2025, around 11:56pm, Chicago Police responded to calls of 2 ppl shot on 77th & Essex. Upon arrival, officers discovered the front door opened and made entry.
They found Amanda inside the home with 2 Gsws to the abdomen, 1 in the leg. She was rushed to UofC Hospital 🏥 where she was pronounced 0-1-1-0 (Deceased).
A 23-yr-old female was found with 2 Gsws to the leg, 1 to the knee. She’s listed in Fair condition.
Witnesses described the known female offender who fled the scene on foot and possibly ditched the gun. K-9 was called in to search for the weapon.
CPD now has the female offender in custody.
