Lamar Odom has revealed how drugs were his girlfriend during the years he was married to Khloe Kardashian. In an exclusive interview on “TMZ Presents: Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs & Kardashian,” the former NBA star didn’t hold back, admitting that his battle with substance abuse had a tremendous effect on his romance with Khloe, whom he married in 2009.
By 2016, the two were officially divorced after a string of headlines accused Lamar of cheating on the reality star and frequently attending brothels, one of which he almost died at the year prior.
It was later reported that Lamar had also been battling a serious addiction to drugs, which he tells @tmz_tv “was my girlfriend” while married to the Good Ambassador co-founder. While Lamar was able to hide his substance issues at the beginning of their relationship marriage, it ultimately came to the point where he knew he needed to come clean to the woman he married one month after they first met.
“I mean, behind the scenes I put her through some s–t,” he admits. “The things that y’all think y’all know is crazy. But the stories that y’all don’t know is really crazy.” Lamar has been talking quite a lot about Khloe lately, having said that he would try his “damndest” to reconnect with his ex earlier this year on “Celebrity Big Brother.” He shared, “I would just probably want to take her to dinner. It will be a blessing just to be in her presence. Just to tell her I’m sorry and what a fool I was.”
