The new VC of Nnamdi Azikiwe University,Prof. Esimone has increased the tuition fees of freshers and staylites. The new VC is a pastor. Most students thought that being a pastor would make things better but it's unfortunate that it is actually worse.
During Prof. Ahaneku's time,the total tuition fees for freshers- 64k and the tuition fees for staylites -20,100naira.
Now,under the reign of Prof. Esimone, freshers will have to pay a total of 100,000naira while staylites will pay a total of 50,600 naira.
Lots of Unizik students are complaining bitterly about the increment in school fees. The increment in school fees is outrageous for a federal university.
