Lagos State Government addresses the use of Chloroquine to prevent or manage COVID-19.

Lagos State Government has addressed the use of Chloroquine to prevent or manage COVID-19. Lagos State Government revealed that its administration has no hard evidence that chloroquine is effective in preventing or managing the virus. 

According to Lagos State Government, it revealed that Lagos State Ministry of Health will be conducting its own clinical trial on the effectiveness of Chloroquine in the prevention or management of COVID-19. 

Lagos State Government also advised Lagosians that before they take chloroquine, it must be based on doctors' prescription because it can cause more harm than good.
