President Muhammadu Buhari approves N10b grant to Lagos state and N5b grant to NCDC to help fight COVID-19.

President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His excellency, Muhammadu Buhari has approved a N10billion grant to Lagos state and a N5billion grant to NCDC.

According to Muhammadu Buhari, the N5b grant which will be given to NCDC will be used to equip, expand and provide personnel to its facilities and laboratories.

While the N10b which will be given to Lagos state will be used to increase its capacity to control and contain the outbreak because Lagos is the epicenter of the virus.
