WAEC suspends the 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination indefinitely over COVID-19.

WAEC has suspended its examinations indefinitely due to the fast spreading virus in the world, COVID-19.

In an official statement released by Nigeria's head of WAEC, Patrick Areghan has announced on Friday that the West African Examinations council indefinitely suspends its examinations scheduled for April 6, 2020 due to COVID-19.

Part of the official statement: "The West African Examinations council in Nigeria nay, the West African sub-region, has decided to put on hold the conduct of the West African Senior School Certificate for school candidates, 2020, earlier scheduled to commence on April 6, 2020".
