BREAKING: President Muhammadu Buhari won't address the nation today.

It's been confirmed that the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari won't address the nation today. 

This information was made known by the president's special adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adeshina in a tweet. 

According to Femi Adeshina, he said that there won't be a presidential broadcast on COVID-19 updates today. He also added that the presidential broadcast was not planned. 

He ended his statement by saying that it's the Presidential Task Force that will give the broadcast during its usual media briefings.

He wrote: "No presidential broadcast on COVID-19 updates today. None was planned. Rather, the Presidential Task Force will during its usual media briefings bring the nation up to speed on the next steps"
