Minister of Foreign Affairs, Godffrey Onyeama explains why evacuated Nigerians pay for accommodation at Isolation Centres.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Godffrey Onyeama has explained why Nigerians who were evacuated from other countries have to pay for accommodation at Isolation Centres or hotels.
Nigerians who were evacuated are to pay a total sum of N297,600 as their accommodation fees at the Isolation centres or hotels, until their quarantine periods are over.

In a press briefing on Friday, Godffrey said this: "This is not by any stretch of imagination on something the government is happy to do. As I mentioned, if the resources were there, we would evacuate everybody"
