A lady in Ilorin has reportedly died during COVID-19 palliatives struggle yesterday. Her passing was made known by a popular Nigerian music manager, Ubi Franklin via social media.
According to Ubi who shared the news, it was reported that bags of rice fell on Slim Mida at a warehouse in Ilorin, Kwara State. She didn't die immediately until people started stepping on her without knowing a soul was under the bags of rice.
When they later found out, it was too late because she had already passed away. Her Instagram handle is at Slim Mida.
Sharing the information, Ubi Franklin wrote:
"This lady here died yesterday after falling off bags of rice at the Ilorin COVID-19 palliatives warehouse, the other people at the warehouse kept stepping on her not knowing they were actually stepping on a human being, by the time they found out, she was dead.
May her soul rest in peace."
