Gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo condemns silhouette challenge with all her strength

Popular Nigerian Gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo, has openly condemned the popular challenge, known as, Silhouette Challenge. She also advised ladies to desist from such challenge because it doesn't speak well of them.

Silhouette Challenge begins when Paul Anka's song, "Put Your head on my Shoulder" (Released in 1987) is playing. The silhouette switch takes place when Doja Cats' song, "Streets" is played. The silhouette switch takes place under a red light display.

Taking to her Instagram page, Mercy Chinwo, advised ladies to stay away from Silhouette Challenge because "it's demonic" and it encourages "nudity."  In her post, she wrote:

"Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.
Romans 12:2

She wrote again: "Dear woman, you don't have to follow every trend, carry thyself with dignity, know your worth..This is why you're different. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works (lifestyle, character) and glorify your father in heaven. #ISTANDAGAINSTSILHOUTTECHALLENGE."
