The family of Okoye or The Okoyes have thrown a lowkey but memorable brithday party for their mother, grandmother and great grandmother, lady Monica Okoye, who turned 96 yesterday.
Lady Monica Okoye has 12 children (8 of them are alive), 36 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. Taking to her Instagram page, Dr. Ify Nwakwesi, shared a photo of her mother with her entire children as they posed for her 96th birthday photoshoot.
In one of the posts shared by Dr. Ify, she, her siblings and a few grandchildren were seen singing a song in Igbo for their sweet mother, who was seen sitting in a chair.
Dr. Ify wrote: "Celebrating our mom lady knobs Okoye at 96. 96 today, Lady Monica Okoye ( Ochiora) Amazing Grace, Mercy, favour God, we're grateful. Please, keep her so we can celebrate her centenary biko. My God, I'm on my knees.
