IPOB-ESN leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has reacted to the secret memo written by the Attorney General of Nigeria, Malami, which he stated that President Buhari should adopt "Marital law." (Read More Here).
According to the secret memo, AGF, Malami blamed powerful Agitators, Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho for the protracted crisis that has started in Nigeria. For that reason, Malami wants to declare state of emergency in Nigeria.
Malami, in the his secret memo, also asked President Buhari to suspend the fundamental rights of all Nigerians guaranteed under chapter IV of the Constitution.
“The essence of declaration is to allow for suspension of constitutional and legal bureaucratic bottlenecks pertaining to matters of National Security with particular regards to fundamental rights guaranteed under Chapter IV of the 1999 Constitution and processes and procedures relating to procurements, among others," Malami stated.
Taking to his Twitter page, Nnamdi Kanu, reacted to Malami's secret memo and told him that his "marital law" won't stand and it won't stop Biafra.
His statement reads: "‘In the document, Mr Malami blamed Nnamdi Kanu & Sunday Igboho for fueling the protracted crisis that has enveloped the country & aggravated the social & economic conditions of Nigerians.'
Anyway, your Martial Law won’t stop #Biafra & #Oduduwa."
