Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Big Brother Naija star of Season 4, Mercy Eke, has confused many Nigerians with her local American wannabe accent on her reality Tv show. (Read More Here).
On her reality Tv show, Mercy Eke, spoke about her friend who wanted to have a taste of pepper soup in her house, meanwhile Mercy Eke had only Afang soup in her house.
Mercy Eke then told her friend that such things aren't done in Lagos (requesting a particular soup which the house owner doesn't have).
Mercy Eke's reality Tv show "Mercy, What Next?" shows on DSTV on Channel 151 at 6:00PM.
She says:
"You have to have the Afang soup.
She was like "nah."
I want the pepper soup.
I'm like "nah", you don't do that.
That's how we roll in this Lagos."
After the video began to go viral, Nigerians rushed to social media to react. Alot of Nigerians said that they didn't understand what Mercy Eke said, due to her accent. A few Nigerians requested for a subtitle.
