VIDEO: Oprah Winfrey enjoys pre-Thankgiving with South African friends and popular South African cuisines; Bobotie, Bunny Chow, chakalaka

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that US veteran TV host, Oprah Winfrey, has enjoyed her pre-Thankgiving festival with her South African girls and over six different South African cuisines. (Read More Here).


Taking to her Instagram page, Oprah Winfrey, shared a video showing the moment her South African female friends sat on a round table, after helping her cook six different S.African cuisine. 

Thando Dlomo, who graduated from the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa, cheers Steadman Graham on, seated next to her, as he says: "Amandla!"

Nomzamo Mbatha is at Oprah Winfrey’s thanksgiving dinner party. 

The South African cuisines prepared by Oprah and her friends are: Samp and beans (Hominy, White beans and tomatoes), Yellow rice, slow cooked Bobotie (braised beef, potatoes and garlic), Peri Peri chicken (South African chilli and garlic), Peri Peri shrimp, Bunny Chow (roasted chicken and bread), chakalaka. 

She wrote:

"We had a pre-Thanksgiving feast at our house. South African cuisine to welcome my girls home," Oprah captioned the post before adding: "And yes there was malva pudding for dessert. All deliciously prepared by Chef @raymond_weber. Thanks for giving my daughter girls a taste of Home."
