Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Rwandans have begun the boycotting of Antoine Christophe Agbepa Mumba, popularly known as, Koffi Olomide's concert Kigali. (Read More Here).
According to information, Koffi Olomide, is set for his concert at Kigali Arena, Rwanda, which will hold on December 4, 2021. Due to his conviction for rape, Rwandans aren't in support of him coming to their country.
Recall that even South Africans and Zambians had to boycott his concert a few years ago. Now, Rwandans are doing the same.
Koffi Olomidé is a huge star of rumba and soukous which are popular across much of Africa. Olomidé was first charged in 2012 with aggravated rape but the charges were reduced.
Four dancers who used to work for the musician told the court that he sexually assaulted them multiple times between 2002 and 2006. They said the assaults happened in the Democratic Republic of Congo and France.
He was handed a two-year suspended jail sentence by a court in France in absentia, as he failed to turn up.
