Editorial director, Joe Ageyo, leaves Citizen 'RMS' platforms after four years as Linus Kaikai becomes new editorial director

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that former editorial director, Joe Ageyo, has left the Citizen 'RMS' platforms after working the company for four years. (Read More Here).


In an official statement, it was stated that Joe Ageyo left willingly and he wasn't sacked by the broadcasting company. According to information, Kaikai, has become the new editorial director at the RMS. 

Reports have it that Joe has moved on to NTV and he's going to start work from April 2022. 

Linus Kaikai was poached by the station from his role as NTV Managing Editor while Joe Ageyo joined the company shortly after quitting KTN.

Statement reads:

"Until this appointment, Linus was a Director of Strategy and Innovation. He retains the two functions alongside his new role. As Editorial Director, Linus will oversee the administrative and editorial functions of our news and current affairs operations across the RMS platforms. 

"I wish to announce that Joe Ageyo who has for the last four years served the RMS as Editorial Director is leaving the company to pursue other interests. 

"On behalf of the company, I congratulate Linus on his appointment and wish him good luck in the execution of his new duties and responsibilities towards accomplishing the goals of the RMS," added the statement signed by the Managing Director Wachira Waruru.
