Son, Sir Kevin Jr., mourns death of mother, Traci Braxton, after passing away from Esophageal cancer

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Traci Braxton has died after battling with cancer. She died at age 50. Her mother and sisters were by her side before she breathed her last. (Read More Here).

According to popular US tabloid, TMZ, revealed that the husband to Traci, Kevin Surratt, had announced the news of his wife's death to them. 

 "We have come to a time where we must inform the public that after a year of privately undergoing a series of treatment for Esophageal cancer our beloved Traci Braxton has gone on to glory."

The family has experienced other recent tragedies. Her niece, Lauren Braxton, died from a heroin and fentanyl OD back in 2019 at age 24.

Taking to his Instagram page, Sir Kevin Jr., paid a touching tribute to his mother. “When I heard the news about my mother being sick first thing she said was ‘I’m going to fight to and beat this.’ She fought to the end and today she’s at peace. I love my mother forever and this hurts so much but I am at peace knowing she isn’t in pain anymore. I love you ma I’m going to miss you,” he wrote.

Traci Braxton is the sister to popular US singer, Tamar Braxton. She's survived by her mother, son, husband and sisters.
