Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that it seems as if though popular Nairobi nightclub, Deja Vu, is trying to deny the allegation of its bouncers killing a many, Charles Chege to death. (Read More Here).
In an official statement, Deja Vu, stated that when Charles Chege left the premises of the club, he was still alive, according to the CCTV at its club.
Information has it that the two bouncers, the manager and a few staff, have been arrested by the police and might be arraigned in court of homicide.
Deja Vu statement reads:
"Deja Vu is aware of the video aired on K24 TV depicting the beating of a man alleged to have stolen a phone on our premises.
"We don't allow, condone or agree with any such unlawful punishment on our premises and condemn it in the strongest terms.
"Our CCTV footage however shows the man was alive at the time of being evacuated from the premises. What transpired after he left is under investigation by the DCI and we are cooperating with them fully in this regard."
