Taking to social media, Dennis Ombachi OLY, shared a video showing the moment he threw his son into the swimming pool at the back of their house.
After sharing the videos, there was outrage on social media as Kenyans began to criticise him. Addressing the issue, he says the water is safe and no problem with it.
He wrote: "4 weeks since we started water safety classes and my son graduated today, officially WATER SAFE!
Last class he get to go in with 4 layers of clothing including two diapers, more than doubling his weight in water.
Proud father 💙💙💙."
Also, he shared a video of his daughter learning how to swim in the swimming pool. He wrote: "Graduating as well was our 8 month old daughter, officially the only one who can’t swim in here 😂😂😂"
