"Voting has taken place across more than 4,600 polling stations around the country
There was an exception in the gubernatorial elections in Mombasa, Kakamega, and for some legislative seats in six other regions where ballot mix-ups were recorded, according to local media. Results will be counted at each polling station and will be transmitted electronically using 3G/4G networks to the IEBC portal. All results in the media, not officially announced by IEBC, are provisional.

"How results will be announced in the 2022 Kenya elections
Subnational and presidential elections were held across the country in a six-ballot system on August 9. Kenyans voted for persons to fill six offices: the offices of the president, member of National Assembly, county governor, senator, county assembly ward member and county woman member of National Assembly. Collation of results is underway, and the winners will be announced by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on or before August 15. According to the Constitution, election results must be announced on or before seven days after the vote. Elections in eight regions were postponed until August 23 due to errors in ballot papers, according to the Daily Nation."
