The incident occurred on September 17 in Weld County near Highway 85 and County 38 after a Platteville police officer arrested a woman over an alleged road rage incident involving a gun. Two Fort Lupton officers arrived at the scene after receiving a call about the arrest. As reported by CPR, the two officers placed Yareni Rios-Gonzalez,20, in the back of the Platteville police vehicle illegally parked on railroad tracks.
