Back in 2019, Banks spoke with Channel 2 Action News hours before he surrendered.

“I have nothing to hide,” Banks told Channel 2 Action News. “I have nothing to run from.”

Banks said he canceled his tour and immediately flew to Atlanta when he found out he was wanted by Atlanta police.

Banks’ lawyer, Manny Arora provided Channel 2 Action News with the following statement:

While it took three years for the State to make the right decision, in the end the right decision was made and Mr. Banks can finally put this event behind him.

Banks was facing criminal attempt to commit murder, aggravated assault, unlawful for employed by associated with criminal street gang to conduct/participate in crime, possession of firearm during commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

“If I don’t know you… I ain’t gonna lie, I gotta go $350,000,” Durk told the show's hosts. “I got receipts. Now listen, you gotta have receipts. Because somebody could come up here just to lie, to boost they sales.”

Durk's price has risen significantly since he first revealed how much he makes for shows. Back in 2020, Durk tweeted that he had planned to ask for $100,000 to perform. Fast forward to earlier this month, the "AHHH HA" rapper said that his label had provided him with $40 million. The amount is still unconfirmed by his label, Alamo Records. In his latest interview, Durk explained that he'll charge artists he doesn't know 6-figures for a feature as long as the label has the funds available in their budget.

"If I don’t know you from a can of paint, and the label wanna spend some money. … It’s not really the artist, even though it’s their budget, I’m gonna fuck the label up bad.”
