Marquise had initially put his father on blast for only giving him $6,700 in monthly child support payment. However, while speaking he clarified that it’s not about the money; he’s actually ready for a one-on-one conversation with his dad to hash out their problems. Marquise even said that he’s willing to pay more than that to talk to his pops: “I don’t even know if a sit down can actually restore the situation, it’s more so it’s an olive branch,” said Marquise in an interview with TMZ. “If you up for it, I’m up for it. … I’m definitely willing to sit down with him and get his perspective, and gain a little bit of understanding. I mean, like, we’re both men at the end of the day. We should be able to agree and disagree, and [it] not be a problem.”
Now, although Marquise says he doesn't know what to expect if ever gets the chance to chop it up with him, but he hopes it would lead to better understanding for both of them. Meanwhile, 50 trolled him right after the TMZ interview but he’s now sharing how really felt about his son’s admission:
