Hasbulla Magomedov officially signs deal to fight in the UFC

The 19-year-old, who suffers from dwarfism and has a child-like appearance, is one of the biggest names on social media 3.5 million followers on Instagram. (Read More Here).

Last year, he struck up a friendship with UFC president Dana White with the duo meeting in Abu Dhabi.

Rumours last month suggested Hasbulla had signed a contract with the world's top MMA company for marketing purposes. Hasbulla took to Twitter on Thursday morning and claimed he will fight in the UFC.

Along with a picture of him holding Hasbulla merchandise, the Dagestan native tweeted: "The rumours are true. I have officially signed a deal to fight in the UFC!

"Details will be revealed by the end of the year. Thank you to my team for making this dream a reality."

The UFC are yet to make an official announcement. Hasbulla feuded with fellow TikTok star Abdu Rozik in 2021, with the duo coming to blows during the main event of UFC 267.

White previously laughed off suggestions Hasbulla would fight in the promotion but has slowly come around to the idea.

Recently, 'Mini Khabib' has been involved in a bitter Twitter feud with Conor McGregor. The UFC megastar kicked it off by calling Hasbulla a 'smelly inbred' and threatening to volley him in tweets he later deleted.

Hasbulla was recently believed to have signed a five-year deal with the UFC which would see him work with the company's media relations department. But he has now taken to social media to claim he will in fact be fighting. "The rumours are true," he said. "I have officially signed a deal to fight in the UFC! Details will be revealed by the end of the year. Thank you to my team for making this dream a reality."

The Russian star, who has growth hormone deficiency (GHD), shot to fame after hosting a mock press conference with his long-term rival Rozik who has a similar genetic condition. His popularity has seen him thrust into the limelight, which is also down to his close friendship with retired star Khabib Nurmagomedov and protege Islam Makhachev.

Hasbulla has also been involved in an online spat with UFC legend Conor McGregor, demanding the Irishman flies to the Middle East for a confrontation. "I don’t follow bums… didn’t know someone was running their mouth, @ me next time," Hasbulla wrote. "I have my UFC contract now, if Conor McGregor is really a man… see me in Abu Dhabi. Got smashed by Khabib already. Guess his money from [Floyd] Mayweather ran out and he needs more attention."
