The 19-year-old, who rose to fame alongside Rosie McClelland when they performed on The Ellen Show, shared her news in a YouTube video.
She told her followers: “I am 21 weeks today and the reason why I left it so long, is because I always want to make sure everything is completely fine and everything is safe.
“I was very shocked when I first found out, I have got used to it now and I am super, super happy about it.”
Sophia Grace has had a boyfriend for over two years but he chooses to stay off social media.
Sophia Grace and her cousin Rosie went viral on social media more than a decade ago. They were also given their own segment - Tea Time with Sophia Grace and Rosie - where they would interview celebrity guests over a cup of tea, ask them embarrassing questions and trade dance move tips.
Guests on their segment included a host of young icons including Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber, as well as established veterans like Hugh Grant and Reese Witherspoon.
As the girls became runaway successes, Sophia and Rosie were also given their own movie and have been the lead characters in two children's picture books which follow their adventures.
The pair returned to the show in May 2022 to help celebrate the end of the programme.
They both launched singing careers and YouTube channels.
Sophia recently insisted they were still close, saying: "There's like a 4-year age gap, we have been close like sisters. People get mistaken because we don't always post things together online. They think that we're not close anymore. But we literally are like best friends."
Brownlee revealed she already knows the sex of the baby, but will be saving that reveal for a future video.
"So as you guys can probably see I have some balloons next to me which are pink and blue because I'm not going to give anything away about the gender." she said. "I actually know the gender because I actually found out but I am going to do a gender reveal for you guys in a separate video to this one so you can expect to see that soon on my channel. So make sure you watch out for that and I don't really know I just don't know what to talk about because there's sort of a lot of things."
She called the sonograms taken at her 20 week appointment her favorites, explaining, “It’s really cute because the baby’s actually sucking it’s own hand.”
“You can sort of see the arm, this is the head, this is the arm and it’s sucking it’s thumb there and then that’s the belly,” she added. “So that was absolutely so funny to see. It was so cute.”
Throughout the rest of the announcement video, Brownlee spoke candidly about her pregnancy thus far and various milestones throughout. She recalled that around week eight of her pregnancy, she took a test that would detect the sex of the baby early, which ended up matching the results that her doctors shared at her 20-week scan.
