SHOOTING VIDEO FOOTAGE: Pittsburgh police said six people were shot outside a funeral of 20-year-old man, John James Hornezes Jr., in the city's Brighton Heights neighborhood Friday

Pittsburgh police said six people were shot outside a funeral in the city's Brighton Heights neighborhood Friday. (Read More Here).

All six victims were reported to be in stable condition, police said.

The shooting happened just after noon outside a funeral service for John James Hornezes, Jr., one of the three killed in a shooting on Pittsburgh's North Side on Oct. 15. That service was being held at the Destiny of Faith Church on Brighton Street.

A source says someone was driving by the church in a vehicle and fired shots. Police were not able to confirm that's where the shots came from but did say there was "most likely" more than one shooter.

Police said they believe the shooting was targeted.

At this time, police said they do not have any information on potential suspects. One victim originally reported in critical condition is now in stable condition, among five other people also being treated for injuries, Pittsburgh Police Commander Richard Ford said at a news conference Friday afternoon.

At least one of the victims in stable condition was taken to Children’s Hospital in the city, Ford said.

Two “people of interest” were detained Friday night in connection to the shooting, police said. Authorities did not identify the people in custody nor explain how they are believed to be related to the shooting.

Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives “are on scene assisting the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police with this incident,” Special Agent Robert Cucinotta told CNN, and declined to comment further.

Police were alerted to two ShotSpotter activations shortly after noon Friday. The first alert indicated five rounds shot, and the second alert indicated 15 rounds shot, Ford said. Once at the scene, responding officers determined the gunfire was heard outside the church. It’s believed at least some of the people shot were attending the funeral, Ford said.

The incident “appears to be obviously a result of a targeted shooting,” Ford said.

“We do feel that there are people out there that will resort to violence through guns, and that is a danger to anybody when that might take place,” Ford said.

"I'm sorry we're here to report another tragic incident," Acting Pittsburgh Police Chief Thomas Stangrecki said at a briefing near the scene on Friday afternoon.

Law enforcement swarmed the North Side's Brighton Heights area of Brighton Road, McClure Avenue, Termon Avenue and Benton Avenue after reports of gunfire shortly after noon on Friday, emergency officials said.

ShotSpotter picked up five rounds going off at 12:04 p.m., police said. Just after, it alerted another 15 rounds going off in that area.

The Destiny of Faith Church sits at the corner of Brighton and Benton. The gunfire went off outside of the building, police said. KDKA's Jennifer Borrasso spoke with a witness who provided KDKA with a flyer from the funeral service.
