WHILE the country is still trying to come to grips with the abduction of the recently rescued 13 girls, the Lusaka Magistrate’s Court has found a 30-year-old businessman, Vincent Mulenga, popularly known as Desai Mafia, with a case to answer for allegedly abducting and molesting three girls.
During trial, a 15-year-old girl narrated how Mulenga allegedly defiled her at his house and made her have sex with other men on several occasions in Desai area of Matero township.
The victim, who resides in George township, narrated that she knew Mulenga through her cousin Eva.
“My sister [cousin] Eva used to play in Desai area at Vincent’s place,” the girl narrated.
She said she once escorted Eva to Mulenga’s place around 16:00 hours after knocking off from school.
“Vincent asked me not to leave because he wanted to have sex with me but I refused,” the victim said.
“He then gave me a drug which looks like panadol and beer called Lusaka, I drank and slept.
