"Lakukan sesuatu yang bermaruah - letak jawatan," Pakatan Harapan PM candidate Anwar Ibrahim said in reference to a tweet about the Prasarana press conference earlier.
This comes as Azharuddin said the 7-day LRT service disruption is due to a technical issue that is still under investigation.
"We had to do this for the safety of commuters," Azharuddin added.
He also said his team is looking into compensations for affected passengers.
"The Kelana Jaya LRT line will only operate from Gombak to Damai, and from Lembah Subang to Putra Heights," Azharuddin said.
All services under the Kelana Jaya line will also end operations earlier at 11pm to give engineers more time to conduct rectification and repair works.
"This is a serious issue that has never happened before. Rapid Rail is assisted by a special team by original equipment manufacturer Thales Group from Toronto, Canada to find short & long term solutions," Azharuddin said.
This includes tests on existing devices and software.
