Jhené Aiko and Big Sean have welcomed their first baby together.
Jhené Aiko has given birth to her second child, her first with Big Sean.
“11/08/22✨💙Noah Hasani💙,” she captioned an Instagram carousel Friday showing the family of three in the delivery room of a hospital.
“After 24 hours of labor, a total lunar eclipse, and while it was pouring rain… he came 🥹 my baby Yoda, my Sani 💙.”
Sean also gushed over the newborn, posting similar pictures to his own account and writing, “After 24 hours of Labor, A Lunar Eclipse, with rain from the beginning of labor til he was born, he’s here safe and sound. Happy, Healthy and everything we could ever ask for and more. Any and everything for you Son. 💙Noah💙
11/8/22.”
The “Bed Peace” singer became a mom in 2008, and she co-parents daughter Namiko, now 13, with R&B singer O’Ryan.
Aiko was married to producer Oladipo “Dot da Genius” Omishore for two years before she began dating Sean in 2016.
In 2018, the on-again, off-again couple sparked rumors that they had called it quits when Aiko covered many of her tattoos, including one of the rapper’s face.
She confirmed their split via Instagram the following year, writing that she still had “tons of love for him.”
The Twenty88 collaborators looked cozy attending a party together in late 2019. They made their reconciliation Instagram-official in 2020.
“Even tho we gotta be inside [i]n quarantine, you even make that sound good,” Sean captioned a birthday tribute to Aiko that year, calling himself a “lucky” man. “I Love you from da past life to the next.”
Noah is Akio's second child – she welcomed her first child, a daughter named Namiko Love (who goes by the nickname "Nami"), with singer O'Ryan on Nov. 19, 2008.
The first photo appears to be a selfie taken by Aiko and shows her pregnant belly with a baby monitor wrapped around it. In one pic, Big Sean is shown sleeping in a chair in the hospital room.
Another photo shows the happy couple smiling while waiting for Noah to make an appearance. Aiko is holding Noah and surrounded by happy onlookers in the eighth photo of the series and Noah is grabbing a hand in one of the last photos.
On July 3, 2022, PEOPLE confirmed that Aiko is expecting a baby with Big Sean. "The couple is overjoyed and looks forward to this next chapter," Aiko's rep told PEOPLE.
Aiko and Big Sean first met in 2012 and developed a close friendship, collaborating on several songs together before releasing a joint album, Twenty88, in 2016. While doing publicity for the album, the pair's chemistry became apparent, with the rapper telling Billboard, "I love her and I know she loves me." They have dated on and off in the years since.
The “Sunshine” singer also confirmed the news in a separate post shared to her Instagram, which read, “11/08/22. Noah Hasani. after 24 hours of labor, a total lunar eclipse, and while it was pouring rain… he came 🥹 my baby Yoda, my Sani.”
Aiko is also mother to teen daughter Namiko Love Browner, whom she shares with R&B singer O’Ryan Omir Browner.
Aiko first confirmed her pregnancy in July with an Instagram post that showed the singer smiling while showing off her baby bump.
A baby is their latest big project, but Big Sean and Aiko have collaborated on other ventures in the past. In 2016, they paired up to release the album “Twenty88” under the joint name Twenty88. At the time, the two appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” to perform the song “Selfish.”
