The incident occurred last week at DeSoto High School in DeSoto, TX, which sits within the suburbs of Dallas/Dallas County. According to several users on social media, the school has been plagued with unruly students for some years now. One user said, “DeSoto has a fight every week. The kids even fight the teachers.” Another user replied, “Exactly!!! They’re literally out of options at this point. And most the parents [don’t give a f**k].”
Since the shocking incident, the DeSoto Independent School District has launched an investigation after district personnel admitted one of their security team members fired pepper ball pellets at students after a fight in the cafeteria escalated. The incident is now raising questions about the altercation and how things were handled to quell the students.
