VIDEO: Forensic Medical Service reveals cause of death of 6-year-old Colegio Williams student, Abner Leonel, is "asphyxiation by submersion"

The facts were established in the complaint filed with the Mexico City Attorney General's Office (FGJCDMX), the parents of the 6-year-old minor Abner Leonel "N", in the investigation folder FIMC/UAF-MC- 2/UI-1 S/D/01990/11-2022, details that the event occurred on the morning of Monday, November 7. (Read More Here).

Juan Leonardo and Marlene Selene, parents of the victim, reported that as usual, they went to drop off the child at school around 07:30, which is the starting time, and two hours later, already at home, they received a call from campus officials, in which they were told that Abner had been in an accident.

Both parents immediately went to the place and told them that they were trying to revive the little boy and that they were also waiting for an ambulance to take him to an emergency hospital.

However, all the efforts that were made at that time were in vain because even, when the paramedics arrived at the school, the minor had already died.

The parents indicated that they were never notified that Abner had drowned in the pool due to an oversight by the swimming instructors, since apparently the latter left all the students alone for a long moment in that place.

The child was taken to the Forensic Medical Service where hours later, it was determined that the cause of his death was due to drowning.

The parents went to the FGJCDMX to file a complaint for homicide against the campus and those responsible. The investigations continue and it is expected that, in the next few hours, the Williams School authorities will be required to make their preliminary statement.

According to the Forensic Medical Service, Anber's cause of death was "asphyxiation by submersion." Relatives of the minor denounced negligence and the concealment of information by the campus, so this morning they went to the site to demand justice.
