A MISTAKE? Wikipedia website replaces pictures of Alejandro Darío Papu Gómez with that of David Beckham

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Wikipedia website replaces pictures of Alejandro Darío Papu Gómez with that of David Beckham.

David Beckham is an English former soccer player, whose professional career covered just over twenty years (1992-2013). Likewise, he is a celebrity beyond the sports field, with a lucrative advertising activity that continues to this day ”, reads at the beginning of his biography. However, to the right of the text, under his name, there was not a photo of him, but an image of the Argentine soccer player.

As Wikipedia is a site where anyone can collaborate, edit and modify data, someone entered Beckham's profile and, as part of the Argentine national team's prank, changed the footballer's photo. However, a few minutes later, the modification was reversed by Wikipedia. Now, you can see an image of the real Beckham in his biography in Spanish.

Papu Gomez has been on everyone's lips for weeks. On Twitch, in a conversation with Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero, he said that he wore the same hairstyle as David Beckham.

After winning the World Cup, people have not forgotten comments made by Gomez. He wanted to look like Beckham and someone Beckham's page. On 'Wikipedia', an image of the attacking middielder was put to replace that of the ex-Man Utd man.

This virtual encyclopedia is open to anyone to view or edit. Someone decided to change it to Gomez's for some time before it was changed back to Beckham's.

As well as this, his friend Andres Nocioni, who used to play basketball for Real Madrid, joked about Gomez. "I'm sorry to annoy you and damage your self-esteem at the moment, but I'm getting lots of messages on social media saying that you don't look like Beckham in this photo, you look like me. Sorry, mate!," he said.
