Upon his arrest, Guerrero was charged with aggravated robbery. Now, according to the arrest report, Guerrero’s ex-girlfriend made a call to police in San Antonio on Sunday, November 20, some time after 10 p.m. The ex claimed that she let Guerrero into her apartment on the Northwest side of San Antonio so that he could look for and gather some clothes and other belongings that he had left behind.

However, when Guerrero entered the his ex-girlfriend's room, she claimed that he tried to look through her phone, and when she refused to let him do so, he grabbed from the phone from her hand, and then began to struggle over it. The ex-girlfriend also alleges that during the altercation, Guerrero bit her right hand in order to gain control and steal her phone. Things continued to escalate after the victim began to cry. This is when Guerrero allegedly punched the victim in the mouth, told her to be quiet and then pistol whipped her in the head after gaining his belongings.
