BIOGRAPHY AND WIKIPEDIA: Canadian TikToker, Megha Thakur, confirmed dead following car accident

Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Canadian TikToker, Megha Thakur, confirmed dead following car accident.

Canadian TikTok star Megha Thakur died “unexpectedly” Thursday, Nov. 24, according to an Instagram post by her parents. She was 21.

The TikTok star boasted over 1 million followers spread over both TikTok and Instagram.

“It is with heavy hearts we announce the light of our life, our kind, caring, and beautiful daughter, Megha Thakur, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on November 24, 2022 in the early morning hours,” read the post.

“Megha was a confident and independent young woman. She will be dearly missed,” the message continued. “She loved her fans and would have wanted you to know of her passing. At this time, we request your blessings for Megha. Your thoughts and prayers will be with her in her onward journey.”

Thakur’s parents did not immediately reveal the cause of their daughter’s death.

Thakur started posting on the popular social media apps in November 2019 and was known for spreading messages of self-confidence and body positivity.

Her final TikTok message, posted Nov. 18, featured her walking in New York City with the caption: “YOU’RE in charge of your destiny. Remember that.”

Her followers and fans quickly reacted to Thakur’s passing.

“I am so sorry for your loss. Megha is beautiful inside and out,” commented one user.

“She inspired me so much her love was unconditional always wanted to see others win nothing but the best things to say about her my heart is so broken. sending your family so so much love,” offered another.

Just a few days earlier, on November 18, Thakur had posted a video of herself strutting across a New York City street with the caption: 'YOU'RE in charge of your destiny. Remember that.'

It was the final post for the influencer who boasts over 1 million followers on TikTok and Instagram. The cause of her death has not been revealed. Thakur began posting to TikTok in 2019 focusing content on body positivity and self-confidence.

She had studied computer science at Western University in fall 2021, the Western Gazette reported, adding that she was previously a model for the CAISA fashion show, the largest student-run charity fashion show in Canada.

Her final video on TikTok was posted just days before her tragic death, but it's not clear when the footage was shot given that Thakur and nearby pedestrians seemed to be dressed for warmer weather.

Her fans, followers, and loved ones have been posting messages on her TikTok videos as they react in shock to her death.

Another wrote: 'She inspired me so much her love was unconditional always wanted to see others win nothing but the best things to say about her my heart is so broken. sending your family so so much love.'

'Her posts brought so much confidence and light when I was struggling, she was always an angel, and beautiful inside and out. I'm sorry for your loss and may she rest in peace,' another fan commented.

'I am sad because I feel like the world needed someone like her, she was only 17/ 18 inspiring me, a fully grown adult how to love myself and be confident,' the follower wrote.

'We all have our struggles behind closed doors, no matter how uppity our energy feels to others.

'I have a problem thinking that everything is always fine in some people's lives and they only have minor inconveniences. But no, we are all very human, we can really just die tomorrow or in the next hours,' the fan added.
