Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that The Russian oligarch and former owner of one of Russia’s biggest developer groups (Don-Stroi ), Dmitriy Zelenov, has died in France after falling down a flight of stairs. (Read More Here).

The 50-year-old Dmitriy Zelenov was the former owner of the prominent Don-Stroy property developer group.

The information, first confirmed by the Russian Baza news agency, reported that Zelenov was visiting friends on December 9, in the French town of Antibes.

After supper, the businessman reportedly felt “changes” in his state of health and fell down a flight of stairs.

At seven o'clock the next morning, the police informed Dmitri's friends that he had died without regaining consciousness. It is also known that Zelenov underwent vascular surgery shortly before his death, he had long-term heart problems. Dmitry Zelenov was a co-owner of Donstroj, one of the largest Moscow developers of the late 1990s and early 2000s. The company was the first to start building luxury and high-rise residential complexes in Moscow. Zelenov was on the Forbes list of Russian billionaires for several years, but after the financial crisis in 2008 he and his partner had to give up the company due to debts.

It is the latest in a long line of examples of mysterious deaths among Putin's oligarchs, writes the Italian newspaper Il Mattino. Pavel Pchelnikov, manager of Russian Railways, was found dead in his Moscow apartment. The same fate befell Gazprom's director of transport, Yuriy Voronov, who was found dead in a swimming pool in July. However, the newspaper points out that the list of dead oligarchs is actually much more extensive
