PN chairman Muhyiddin Yassin has denied allegations that he stole RM600 billion from government coffers when he was PM.  

He says he does not know where the RM600 billion figure came from, but believes it is referring to the economic stimulus packages he implemented.

“Daripada keseluruhan RM530 bilion ini, sebahagian besarnya adalah berbentuk non-fiskal, iaitu tidak melibatkan perbelanjaan kerajaan,” he said in a statement. 

 

“Ini termasuk pengeluaran KWSP i-Lestari, i-Sinar, i-Citra bernilai RM145 bilion.”

Muhyiddin noted that he is also not afraid to be investigated over the matter.

“Cuma pesan saya kepada ahli-ahli politik PH dan UMNO, janganlah asyik menuding jari kepada orang lain dengan menuduh yang bukan-bukan,” he added.

“Awak dah jadi kerajaan, act like a government.”All Cabinet ministers have agreed to take a 20% pay cut from their monthly salaries, Anwar Ibrahim says. 

The Prime Minister adds that this deduction will continue until the economy fully recovers.
