Tory Lanez’s DNA was reportedly not found on the gun used to shoot Megan Thee Stallion

Despite the trial almost nearing its end, prosecutors in Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion’s shooting case, reportedly tried to charge Lanez with two counts of witness intimidation today.

According to New York City attorney Mohammad Gangat, better known on social media as @lawyerforworkers, the prosecution attempted to hit Lanez with two new felony charges of intimidating a witness. Gangat says, “One for intimidating Meg. Two for intimidating Kelsey [Nicole Harris].”

Gangat adds, “They want these charges added to the criminal complaint and they want these charges to go to the jury at this trial.” Apparently, the prosecutors are claiming lanez allegedly tried to pay off Megan and Kelsey a while ago. Gangat claims that the judge, like everyone else, was taken aback. Gangat says there’s like one or two more days left of testimony and now the prosecution pulls this. Subsequently, Gangat says, “The judge said, ‘No. That’s not how this works. You cannot add these charges to this trial right now.’
