A child died from drowning in a dam in Jardim Alegre city, Paraná state. The tragedy happened in the Raiz da Pesca fishing ground.

The child identified as Heitor Emanuel Fiori Bastos Pires, only 2 years old, is the son of the owners of the fishing area, Ana Cláudia and Julio.

According to information, the child was playing and ended up falling. When the family members saw him, they rescued him and took him out of the water, but he did not resist and died before receiving medical attention in the city hospital.
