Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it has it Rapper, AKA Worldwide, posted his location on social media (Instagram story) while eating at Wish Restaurant few minutes before he was shot dead and killed on Florida Road, Durban.

KwaZulu-Natal police are currently conducting an investigation into two separate cases of murder.

Colonel Robert Netshiunda, spokesperson for the police, has confirmed that no individual has been apprehended as of yet.

At approximately 10pm, AKA was reportedly standing outside the Wish Restaurant when two unknown vehicles opened fire on him. He was hit five times. His bodyguard was also shot dead.

It is understood that the rapper was standing outside the Wish Restaurant when he was gunned down in a drive-by shooting.

Two unknown cars are believed to have opened fire just before 10pm.

Taking to social media, a South African source, shared the video circulating saying that popular South African rapper, AKA, has been shot in Florida, Durban.

He was shot at exactly 8:00pm (South African time).

If he's dead or alive, such information hasn't been ascertained at the moment of filing the report.

The source wrote: "Guys AKA just got shot and killed in Florida Rd Durban."
