NO MP3 DOWNLOAD: Stream TQG by Karol G ft Shakira

After much speculation, the Colombian artists, Shakira, and Karol G, revealed that the launch of their new collaboration will be released on Friday, February 24, at 1:00 am ET.

The song is called ‘Te Quedo Grande’ or ‘TQG’ and is one of the tracks on Karol G’s new album, ‘Mañana Sera Bonito.’ The release of the single and the album will occur at the same time.

“We know you were waiting for it and here we are!” says the post they made on Instagram.

The photo posted includes the pair in earth-colored outfits, possibly an image from the music video for the song. The announcement comes after an audio of a few verses was leaked, and many who head those bits anticipate that the song with parts dedicated to their ex-partners Anuel AA and Gerard Piqué.

Fans of the two artists have left multiple comments wishing them success with their new release, which many have been waiting patiently for. Initially, rumors began circulating that the song would be released on Shakira’s birthday, 2 February.

The pair will join forces for “TQG,” which will be part of Karol’s upcoming new album, Mañana Será Bonito, set to drop Feb. 24. It’s the first time the Colombian superstars unite for a track. The photo of them side-by-side kneeling on a dirt-like surface doesn’t reveal much about the actual song, but fans are already predicting it will be a hit. Fellow artists such as Anitta and Becky G reacted by writing “wow” or commenting two crown emojis.

Mañana Será Bonito will be her fourth studio album. It will follow her 2021 Grammy-nominated KG0516, which scored Karol her first No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Latin Albums. The set earned the biggest week for a Latin album by a woman since Shakira‘s 2017 El Dorado.

Meanwhile, Shakira is currently making the rounds with her Bizarrap Music Session, “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53.” The diss track, released in January, peaked at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Hot Latin Songs chart. With her music session, Shakira ties with Bad Bunny for the fourth-most No. 1s overall, both with 12.
