Seri to file court papers against Operation Dudula over evictions of undocumented Zimbabwean foreigners who were residing in a hijacked building. 

About 400 immigrants were evicted from the Ellis Park building, also known as Msibi House in Doornfontein in December.

According to Zolile Shude, a candidate attorney at Seri, they will be filing court papers with supporting affidavits from some of the many victims targeted by Dudula. Shude said Dudula is not above the law. Among the immigrants who were evicted, there blind Zimbabweans.

GroundUp recently visited a group of 40 families who were among 400 immigrants forcefully evicted from the hijacked building, Ellis Park building.
