Tom Holland’s Peter Parker/Spider-Man will reportedly be the lead of AVENGERS: THE KANG DYNASTY

Tom Holland’s Peter Parker/Spider-Man will reportedly be the lead of AVENGERS: THE KANG DYNASTY.

Spider-Man: No Way Home featured arguably the best use of the Multiverse concept since this latest Saga began, so perhaps we shouldn't be surprised that Tom Holland's web-slinger will be front and centre in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty! That's according to reliable insider @MyTimeToShineH, anyway.

As you can see in the series or Tweets below, they're claiming that Holland has signed a huge new "secret" deal with Marvel Studios to return as Spider-Man in both a fourth movie - that would be released prior to 2026's Avengers: Secret Wars - and to serve as The Kang Dynasty's lead.

If correct, that's huge, and we can't help but wonder what would lead to Peter Parker being so important to that story.

After all, his fellow Avengers no longer remember who is beneath the mask, so much of his shared history with Earth's Mightiest Heroes is no more. Spidey does, however, have some Multiversal experience and his existence in the MCU (which, as we know, is solely down to Marvel Studios' deal with Sony Pictures) could mean he's some sort of Nexus being who poses an unexpected threat to Kang.

It's also feasible that the nature of this movie means Spider-Man will be able to reverse Doctor Strange's spell...surely that's a predicament Kang might be able to "help" him with? We'll have to wait and see, but based on what's said here, Spider-Man will show up in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty before his long-awaited next solo outing.

This is just a rumour and nothing has been confirmed as of yet, but we're hoping the trades might weigh in soon. It could be that we're left waiting for Spider-Man 4 news until this July's Comic-Con, though.

Since going out on a high note with Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland has been relatively radio silent about his future in the MCU. It’s literally been over a year, and there has been no news about any new deal or Spider-Man film in the works, until now…

Rumors are now noting that Tom Holland has potentially signed a deal to return as the beloved Web-Crawler in at least six new projects. The reports are highlights first a new Spider-Man trilogy (Spider-Man 4, 5, 6) and appearances in the upcoming Disney+ show Daredevil: Born Again. Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock and Tom Holland’s Peter Parker have already interacted before in 2021’s Spider-Man No Way Home. Other films Holland is tied to at the moment include Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, both of which are set for Phase 6 of the MCU coming 2024-2026.

Stay tuned for more details regarding Tom Holland potentially reaching a new deal with Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures.

This, obviously alluding to the fact that Holland brokered a deal between Marvel and Sony to continue playing the character officially for much longer than any of the other previous Spider-Man actors have. But notice, that the account put the last two words in caps. That’ll be important in a minute.

Now, we just want to preface this report with the fact that you should take this information with a grain of salt because it has not been confirmed by Marvel, Sony, or any of the major trades. Instead, it’s been revealed from the anonymous scooping account on Twitter MyTimeToShineHello.

What is interesting to note though is the actual terms of the deal. Sneider says it is "another trilogy for sure," and goes on to mention another three appearances for the webhead as well.

So what could these other three appearances be? Well, seeing as Spider-Man is such an important part of the Avengers team at this point, one can expect the young hero to pop up in the next two Avengers films.

And as for that third and final obligation, wouldn't it be great if this newly dubbed "street level [hero]" met up with another of Marvel's biggest street level heroes in Matt Murdock/Daredevil? The two New York-based supers have a history of going on adventures together, so why not have Tom Holland's Spider-Man show up to help Charlie Cox's Man Without Fear in Daredevil: Born Again?
